Zoom Meetings

Zoom meetings right inside the Kommo lead and customer card: start one now, schedule it, see the history of calls and get the recording with its transcript.

How it works

An account administrator connects the Zoom account once in the integration settings. After that a meetings block appears in the right panel of the lead and customer card.

  • Meet now — creates a meeting and copies the link to the clipboard.
  • Schedule — date, time and duration; optionally a CRM task is created for the meeting time.
  • History — meetings of this card, plus every meeting of the account on a chosen date.

What appears in the card feed

The integration writes nothing into card fields. A single lead can hold any number of meetings while a field holds one value — so the whole history goes into notes and nothing gets overwritten.

  • meeting scheduled — topic, time, join link;
  • meeting started and ended — actual time, duration, number of participants;
  • rescheduling and cancellation;
  • a link to the cloud recording once it is ready;
  • the transcript — as a file in the card or as a link, at the administrator’s choice.

Recordings and transcripts are available when they are enabled in the Zoom account: unlicensed users have no cloud recording.

Who hosts the meeting

In the settings CRM users are matched to Zoom users — automatically by email or by hand. The meeting is created by the person who scheduled it, not by a shared account.

This is not cosmetic: the Zoom daily limit on creating meetings is counted per user. While every meeting is created by a single host, the ceiling is 100 meetings a day for the whole account.

Permissions

The integration works with the topic, time and link of a meeting, and with the list of Zoom users needed to pick a host. Recording video and audio, meeting chats and conversation content are not requested. Access tokens are encrypted and all data exchange runs over TLS.
